2009 Season Tours

Fourteen Years Of Offering The Best Tours
Come Celebrate Our Fourteenth Year

Dear Fellow Travelers,

As GUIDED TOURS UNLIMITED, INC. enters its fourteenth year, its continues to offer one-of-a-kind, thoroughly-researched tours that are guaranteed to be exciting and enjoyable leisure time activities as well as rewarding and stimulating educational experiences.

Each tour once again includes deluxe motorcoach transportation, admissions to listed sites, services of professional tour guides, and some lunches.

Departure points remain at the Central Bucks Administration Building, 16 Welden Drive, Doylestown, PA and the New Hope-Solebury High School, 180 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA.

This year’s spring and summer tours offer a wide variety of choices. Requests for a Washington, DC tour is fulfilled and is the first tour being offered. In May, a private tour of the Cezanne exhibit at the Philadelphia Museum of Art is sure to sell out quickly.

This year’s annual house and garden tour on May 16 takes you to the oldest one in the United States. With the success of last year’s progressive luncheon tour, another one is being offered. The summer season concludes with a trip to the Pennsylvania School of Technology for a day of
chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate.

With the coming of the fall season, three tours are offered. This
year’s annual ghost tour on October 24 brings back prolific author and paranormal expert Charles Adams III. Charles will lead the tour based on his experiences in Pennsylvania’s coal country. On November 7, we stay closer to home with visits to four of our area’s most historic houses. You will be able to usher in the Yuletide on December 12 with private tours of two of the Hudson Valley’s most distinctive mansions, the neoclassical Boscobel and Queen Anne Wilderstein, all festooned in their holiday finery.

In closing, many thanks to the hundreds of devoted travelers who have journeyed with GUIDED TOURSUNLIMITED, INC. these past thirteen years and to those who will be joining us in 2009.

Sincerely,
Larry Weikel, Tour Director
